We suggested ilandco. to choose our Shopify Theme Tweaks service where the tweaks were made to the existing layout to achieve the new blog layout. The new layout provides them an opportunity to add featured blog posts as slideshow, showcase blog posts in the list format and make use of sidebar to display categories, search blog, recent posts and signup for the blog post newsletter.
How the work was carried out
We divided the new layout into 3 parts: First being the Featured blog posts as a slider, Second Part being the blog posts displayed as a list and third part as the sidebar. Then each module was created in the backend and were loaded with images and text according to the design requirements.
Results
The new Shopify blog layout was implemented within the timeline of 5 days, tested on mobile for responsive design and they went live with the new layout to provide their visitors an easy and more intuitive experience for reading their blog posts.
