How the work was carried out
There were two main requirements for this project: 1.) Add videos on the regular basis. 2.) Link products easily to showcase the products used in the videos.
So, when we started working on this project, we decided to use blog format so that the videos when uploaded consistently, gets updated automatically on the videos page. The layout of the existing blog was modified by creating an additional template. For the videos inner pages, a template was created so that they video gets displayed on the left side of the page and the products gets displayed on the right side of the page so that the user doesn't have to scroll down to see the products that have been used in the video. Also, if there are multiple products linked on the page, the product section automatically gets converted into a carousel for users to browse through the products easily.
Results
The project took 10 business days to setup since the main focus was to create a system for staff at Nugg Beauty to upload videos and link products as easily as possible. We've been working with Nugg Beauty for more than 2 years now and have helped them create systems and tweaked their store many times to achieve various goals.
